Getting started

The following is a quick start guide of mining Electroneum on Windows 7 or greater x64.

To mine Electroneum you need a GPU or CPU, Electroneum account and miner.

Account can be obtained in several ways. The simplest way to register on one of exchanges.

Miner can be downloaded from the link below.

Claymore(AMD)Claymore(CPU)tsiv miner(NVIDIA)Wolf miner(AMD/CPU)

Extract the archive to any folder.

Generate your config

Claymore miner:
Edit start_etn.bat and epools_etn.txt: replace YOUR_WALLET_ADDRESS with your Electroneum address, YOUR_WORKER_NAME and YOUR_EMAIL. If you mining to exchange wallet set YOUR_PAYMENT_ID. Rename epools_etn.txt to epools.txt.

Other miners:
Edit start.bat before start mining and set YOUR_WALLET_ADDRESS, worker(computer ID for collecting stats) and email address to correct values. If you mining to exchange wallet set YOUR_PAYMENT_ID.

Examples for address, payment-ID, worker and email parameters:

  • Mining to exchange with payment-ID, worker and email:
    ADDRESS.PAYMENT-ID.WORKER/EMAIL
  • Mining to local wallet without payment-ID, with worker and email:
    ADDRESS.WORKER/EMAIL
  • Mining to exchange with payment-ID and worker:
    ADDRESS.PAYMENT-ID.WORKER
  • Mining to local wallet without payment-ID, with worker:
    ADDRESS.WORKER

Address, payment-ID and worker are dot-separated. Email can be specified only with worker. Email separated by a slash.

Execute start.bat

Pool settings

Pool settings

  • Fee is 2%
  • Payouts several times a day
  • Payout commission 0.01 ETN
  • Default minimum payout is 500 ETN
  • Share difficulty is static and equal to 120000.

You can mine directly to your Electroneum wallet on any exchange

PPLNS payout scheme where N is defined as all submitted shares during the last 3 hours.

Balance confirmation after 20 blocks

Remember: using the pool is at your own risk and we can`t compensate any losses.

Extract the archive to any folder.

Configure

For multi-GPU systems, set Virtual Memory size in Windows at least 16 GB:

Computer Properties / Advanced System Settings / Performance / Advanced / Virtual Memory

Make sure start.bat file looks like this(replace eu1 with nearest server):
  • Exchange wallet
  • NsGpuCNMiner.exe -xpool stratum+ssl://etn-eu1.nanopool.org:13433 -xwal YOUR_ETN_ADDRESS.YOUR_PAYMENT_ID.YOUR_WORKER/YOUR_EMAIL -xpsw z -allpools 1
  • Local wallet
  • NsGpuCNMiner.exe -xpool stratum+ssl://etn-eu1.nanopool.org:13433 -xwal YOUR_ETN_ADDRESS.YOUR_WORKER/YOUR_EMAIL -xpsw z -allpools 1

Where:

  • YOUR_ETN_ADDRESS - your valid ETN address
  • YOUR_PAYMENT_ID - your payment-ID(PAYLOAD). Optional. Use 0 for local wallet.
  • YOUR_WORKER - simple short worker name (like worker01). Optional.
  • YOUR_EMAIL - your email address for notifications. Optional.

Don`t forget to set wallet, worker and email address to correct values.

Failovers

You must use failovers. If you want to enable Nanopool's failover servers, add these lines to epools.txt and change your wallet, worker and email address to correct values:

POOL: ssl://etn-eu1.nanopool.org:13433, WALLET: ETN_WALLET.YOUR_PAYMENTID.YOUR_WORKER/YOUR_EMAIL, PSW: x, WORKER: , ESM: 0, ALLPOOLS: 1
